Fall 2026 Tire Rebates in the GTA: The Stacking Guide

October is the best month of the year to buy tires in the GTA, and it's not close. Every major manufacturer is running a fall rebate right now — most pay $40 to $110 back when you buy four eligible tires. But the rebate alone isn't the real play. The real play is stacking: combining the manufacturer's money with installer savings on the same set, so one purchase saves you twice.

Most drivers leave half the savings on the table because nobody explains how the layers fit together. This guide fixes that.

What "stacking" actually means

A lot of shops advertise rebates like they're doing you a favour. They're not — the money comes from the manufacturer, not the shop. Stacking just means you collect every layer you're entitled to instead of one:

  • Layer 1: The manufacturer rebate. $40–$110 back on four eligible tires, claimed by you directly with the manufacturer after purchase. This is the big one and the one with the most rules.

  • Layer 2: The installer deal. Our fall promo takes $60 off mobile mounting and balancing when you buy a four-tire set from us. If you buy a complete tire-and-wheel package instead, mobile installation is free for the first fall–winter season. Either way, that's installer money on top of the manufacturer's money.

  • Layer 3: Clearance pricing. When a distributor clears out inventory — like our current Continental clearance — the per-tire price drops before any rebate enters the picture. A clearance tire with a rebate on top is the cheapest that tire will ever be.

None of these cancel each other out. That's the whole point of this guide: buy the right tire at the right time, and all three layers land on the same invoice.

The fall 2026 rebate lineup

All of these are live right now, verified against our tire rebates page. Amounts, eligible products, and deadlines are set by the manufacturers and can change — always confirm on the official claim page before you buy.

  • Continental — up to $110. The richest fall offer in the GTA this year. $110 back on the SecureContact AW, $100 on the WinterContact TS line, VikingContact 7 and 8, and TerrainContact A/T2, and $60 on everything else except the UltimateContact lines. Valid September 14 to December 6, 2026. If you're buying winter tires this fall, Continental is the first brand to check.

  • Bridgestone — up to $100. $100 back on Blizzak, Turanza, WeatherPeak, and several others; $70 on Ecopia and Potenza. Valid September 15 to December 7, 2026. Blizzak buyers: this is free money on a tire you'd buy anyway.

  • Michelin — $100. Valid September 21 to December 18, 2026. Check the official terms for eligible lines.

  • BFGoodrich — up to $100. $100 on the All-Terrain T/A KO3 and KO2, Trail-Terrain, HD-Terrain, and Mud-Terrain KM3; $70 on everything else. Valid September 21 to December 18, 2026. Truck and SUV owners, take note.

  • Goodyear — up to $100. $100 on the Assurance WeatherReady 2, WinterCommand Ultra, and Wrangler DuraTrac RT and Outbound AT; $60 on the UltraGrip series and Workhorse AT2. Valid September 7 to December 30, 2026 — the longest window of the season.

  • Toyo — up to $100. Tiered by line: $100 on the Observe GSi-6 family, $80 on Celsius II and Open Country lines, $70 on the Observe G3-ICE, $50 on Extensa and Proxes lines. Valid September 12 to December 19, 2026.

  • Firestone — up to $70. $70 on Winterforce, WeatherGrip, and Destination lines; $60 on Firehawk. Valid September 15 to December 7, 2026.

  • Nexen — up to $80. $80 and $60 tiers depending on line. Valid September 1 to December 31, 2026.

  • General Tire — $50. Valid September 14 to December 6, 2026.

  • Uniroyal — $40. Valid September 21 to December 18, 2026.

How to stack them correctly

Here's the exact sequence. Follow it and the money shows up; skip a step and it doesn't.

  • Step 1: Buy four eligible tires on one invoice. Nearly every offer requires a minimum of four tires, and most require all four on a single invoice. Two now and two later doesn't count. This is the single most common reason claims get denied.

  • Step 2: Make sure the invoice names the exact tire model. The claim form asks what you bought, and the manufacturer checks it against your invoice. If your invoice just says "4 tires," you're in trouble. Our invoices always itemize the exact brand, model, and size — this is one of the quiet things a proper invoice does for you.

  • Step 3: Claim it yourself, on time. The shop can't claim it for you — rebates go to the buyer, through the manufacturer's claim site. Every offer above has a hard end date. Set a reminder the day your tires go on. A $110 rebate you forget to file is worth zero.

  • Step 4: Add the installer layer. Buying four tires from us? Take the $60 off mobile mounting and balancing — we come to your driveway anywhere in Toronto, the GTA, Durham, and York Region. Buying a complete tire-and-wheel package? Installation is free for the first fall–winter season. Either way, book through our mobile tire service bookings or call (647) 819-0490.

  • Step 5: Check for clearance pricing first. Before you lock in a model, ask whether it's on clearance. A tire that's already discounted and still rebate-eligible is the best deal in the store. Our current promos always show what's marked down.

The mistakes that kill your rebate

I've watched drivers lose rebate money the same handful of ways, every season:

  • Buying three tires. The "minimum four" rule is absolute. If one of your current tires is still good and you're tempted to buy three — don't, if there's a rebate in play. The fourth tire usually costs less than the rebate you'd forfeit.

  • Missing the deadline. Rebate windows end. The purchase has to happen inside the valid dates, and the claim has to be filed by the claim deadline, which is sometimes earlier than you'd expect. December buyers get burned by this constantly.

  • Wrong product. The $110 Continental tier covers the SecureContact AW specifically — not every Continental with four wheels. Check the eligible list for the exact model you're buying, not just the brand.

  • No proof of purchase. Keep your invoice. Photograph it. Email it to yourself. The claim portals ask for an upload, and "I lost the receipt" ends the conversation.

  • Assuming the shop files it. We don't, and neither does any other shop — manufacturer rebates are between you and the manufacturer. What we do is give you an invoice that survives their verification.

Why October, not December

Every year the same thing happens: drivers wait until the first snowfall, then discover their size is sold out, the rebate they wanted requires a purchase date they already missed, and every installer in the GTA is booked two weeks out. October buyers get full size availability, the entire rebate window ahead of them, and appointment times that actually fit their schedule.

The tires don't get cheaper in December. The rebates don't get bigger. The only thing waiting changes is your options.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Can I combine a manufacturer rebate with your $60-off mobile install deal?
A: Yes. Manufacturer rebates stack with our promos — that's the entire point of this guide. Buy four eligible tires, claim the manufacturer rebate yourself, and take the $60 off mobile mounting and balancing on the same set.

Q: Do I need to buy all four tires at once to qualify?
A: For nearly every fall 2026 offer, yes — four eligible tires on a single invoice. Split purchases across invoices or months generally don't qualify.

Q: How do I actually receive the rebate money?
A: You file the claim directly with the manufacturer through their claim site after purchase. Most pay out as a prepaid Mastercard or cheque, typically within 6–10 weeks of a valid claim. Keep your invoice — you'll need to upload it.

Q: Does the free installation with a tire-and-wheel package affect my rebate?
A: No. The rebate is based on the tires you purchased, not what you paid for installation. A complete package with free first-season mobile installation is still four eligible tires on one invoice.
