What’s included in a professional puncture repair?
We follow industry-standard patch-plug repairs for eligible crown-area punctures ≤ 6 mm (¼"). The tire is inspected inside and out, damage is prepped, filled, patched, and rebalanced if removed from the wheel. Sidewall/shoulder damage, large holes, or run-flat driven flat are not repairable.
Do you balance wheels and check torque?
Yes. Any wheel we remove/install is torqued to manufacturer spec. Balancing is included whenever we mount tires off-rim, and available as a standalone service for vibration concerns.
Do you handle TPMS (tire pressure sensors)?
Yes—diagnosis, sensor swap, programming/cloning (when applicable), and relearn procedures by vehicle. If you’re buying new wheels/tires, we’ll advise on TPMS compatibility.
What payment methods do you accept?
Debit, credit, and Interac e-Transfer. You’ll receive an itemized digital receipt.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
- Park on a level area with space around the vehicle.
- Have wheel lock key handy.
- Ensure power/garage access if wheels/tires are stored inside.
- For condos/garages, confirm visitor parking/loading access.
What’s your cancellation or reschedule policy?
Please give as much notice as possible. Same-day changes are subject to availability; fees may apply if the technician is already en route.
Do you offer warranty?
Puncture repairs are warrantied for the life of the tire tread for the repaired area when within repairable limits and not subsequently run underinflated. Balancing corrections are warrantied against workmanship defects; road-force/vibration from tire casing or wheel damage is excluded.
Seasonal tips: winter & summer changeovers
- Winter tires: Install when temps consistently drop below 7°C for better cold-weather grip.
- Rotation: Every 8–10k km (or at each changeover) to maximize tread life.
- Storage: Cool, dry place; stack on rims, stand off rims. Label positions to track rotation.
Do you sell tires and wheels?
Yes. We quote multiple brands, load/speed ratings, and EV-rated options. We can deliver and install on-site. Ask for package pricing.
What safety standards do you follow?
We follow TIA RIST procedures and ALI lifting guidelines, with proper jack points and torque verification. We use EV-safe tools and rubber jack pads where applicable.
Do you service EVs?
Yes—EVs are welcome. We carry EV-safe pads and can recommend EV-rated tires. For Tesla-specific services (e.g., cabin filters, caliper cover installs), see the EV/Tesla section below.
EV / Tesla – common questions
- Tesla tire services: Dedicated pages by city are available—see our Tesla service hub from your city page.
- Cabin filter replacement: Select locations from $80. See city-specific Tesla pages.
- Custom caliper cover installation: $150 install (covers not included) for Model 3/Y. We can install customer-supplied covers or help source custom colors.
To keep this General FAQ concise, full Tesla details live on dedicated pages (Ajax, Bowmanville, Courtice, Markham, North York, Oshawa, Pickering, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, Whitby). Use the site search or city menus.
How do you fix Tesla tires?
We follow the same industry-approved patch-plug (inside-out) repair used on other vehicles, with EV-specific care for lifting and TPMS. Here’s our process:
- Lift & safety: Park, apply brake, and use Tesla jack pads on the factory lift points. On Model S/X with air suspension, enable Jack Mode to disable self-leveling. (Model 3/Y do not have air suspension.)
- Inspect & demount: Locate the puncture, remove the wheel/tire as needed, and inspect the casing from the inside to confirm it’s repairable.
- Acoustic foam tires (if equipped): Carefully lift/trim foam around the injury, clean the area, and re-adhere the foam after repair (leaving a small gap at the repair if required).
- Patch-plug repair: Prep the injury channel, apply vulcanizing cement, insert the stem, then bond an internal patch and roll it to seal. This restores the air seal and reinforces the casing.
- Balance & torque: Re-mount, wheel balance, and torque to manufacturer spec.
- TPMS check: Verify sensor health. For Tesla BLE TPMS, relearn typically occurs automatically after driving; we can program/replace sensors if needed.
- Limits: Only crown-area punctures ≤ 6 mm (¼") qualify. Sidewall/shoulder, large, or run-flat-driven damage is not repairable—replacement is recommended.
