Tesla Rotation Intelligence
Tesla recommends every **10,000–12,000 km** or sooner if uneven wear is noticed. Because EVs produce instant torque and are significantly heavier than ICE vehicles, regular rotation is vital to extend tread life and maintain efficiency.
Yes. Directional tires are rotated front-to-rear on the same side to keep the tread rolling in the correct direction. Staggered setups (standard on many Model S/X builds) are rotated side-to-side only to even out shoulder wear.
Most BLE-equipped (Bluetooth) Teslas from 2021 onwards will relearn tire positions automatically within a few kilometers of driving. For older models using 433MHz sensors, we perform a manual reset or trigger the relearn procedure via the service menu.
Always. We never lift a Tesla without OEM-compatible jack pad adapters. These pucks ensure that the weight of the car is never placed on the battery pack casing or the side skirts, preventing thousands of dollars in potential damage.
