TIA RIST Mobile Tire Change for Tesla
We follow TIA guidelines on every Tesla tire change. That means RIST:
Remove rust/debris and clean all mating surfaces,
Inspect wheels, studs/bolts, nuts, seats, hub rings and TPMS,
Snug fasteners in a star pattern by hand, then
Torque with a calibrated wrench to Tesla spec. We verify jack-puck placement, protect rocker panels and the battery pack, set pressures to the door placard, and document torque values. We recommend a re-torque after 50–100 km.

Off-Rim Tesla Tire Change (Mount & Balance)
When your seasonal tires aren’t already on wheels, we bring a full tire-changer and computer balancer to you. Our techs follow TIA best practices (RIST + proper demount/mount procedures) and use Tesla jack pucks and verified lift points to protect the battery pack and rocker panels.
From $150 + HST per set (mount, balance, valve/TPMS service as needed). Final price may vary for oversized/low-profile fitments or specialty wheels.
What’s included
Safe lift & prep: Tesla jack pucks, lift-point verification, hub & wheel-face cleaning.
Demount & inspect: Bead and inner-liner inspection; rims checked for bends, cracks and corrosion.
Bead prep & mount: Correct bead lubrication, directional/inside-outside orientation, and DOT/yellow-red dot match-mounting when appropriate.
Valve/TPMS service: New valve stem or TPMS service kit as required; BLE/TPMS relearn/reset after install.
Dynamic balance: Computer balancing with quality adhesive weights (cleaned placement, hidden behind spokes when possible).
Pressure & torque: Inflate to door-placard pressure, hand-start lugs, snug in a star pattern, and final torque to Tesla specification with a calibrated wrench.
Re-torque reminder: We recommend a re-torque after 50–100 km.
When off-rim service is the right choice
You have seasonal tires without dedicated wheels.
You’re replacing worn or damaged tires and reusing your Tesla wheels.
You want vibration issues addressed with fresh mount/balance and match-mounting.
Notes on acoustic foam (Tesla OE tires)
Many Tesla tires include sound-dampening foam. For puncture repairs we lift/trim foam locally to access the liner and complete a proper TIA patch-plug from the inside; reinstalling foam is optional and done only if it seats cleanly per manufacturer guidance. We do not use plug-only repairs.
