The Nankang Ice-2 (part of the Ice Activa series) is a dedicated, non-studdable winter tire designed for passenger cars and SUVs that face severe "Nordic" conditions. Engineered to provide a significant leap in ice braking and snow maneuverability, it uses a specialized soft-compound technology that remains pliable in the sub-zero temperatures typical of the Greater Toronto Area. Directional "V-Shape" Tread: A high-frequency groove arrangement designed to rapidly pump water and slush away from the contact patch, maximizing grip on wet and melting snow.
